With its striking red color, Hilo Negro Escala anticipates the virtues of a well-aged Syrah.

This wine boasts intense, brilliant red hues. The nose offers a blend of fruity aromas of blackberries and strawberries with floral hints. On the palate, it reveals a very balanced wine with smooth, rounded tannins and prominent flavors of caramel and vanilla.

 

It was aged for 14 months in new and used American and French oak barrels.

 

Its ideal serving temperature is around 16 degrees.
